Very early on this chilly Friday morning, I joined the queue of frenzied consumers outside the Apple Store on Regent Street to get my hands on one of the first UK iPads. Our plan: Lend the iPad on Ecomodo.com to promote two things ..
1. People don’t need to run a marathon to raise money for charity they can simply lend out their assets and help people around them.
2. To inspire people to borrow instead of buying or if they have to buy: Try it first and make sure it’s really what you want to spend your money on.
Just one hour after purchase it was available on Ecomodo.com . You could now borrow an iPad in London and play with it from the comfort of your own sofa. We truly thought this would be our big news of the day until Stephen Fry tweeted ..
