Meriel Lenfestey, co-founder of social enterprise www.ecomodo.com, asks if design can really change people’s behaviour

Ecomodo.com, a site that enables people to lend their goods and services for free, for a fee or for charity, started life as an experiment in whether the power of design could change people’s behaviour for the benefit of the environment and the community.

The thinking was that everything exists within our communities to live the lives we want, without rushing out to buy yet more goods.
